During the Vietnam War of, Vietnamese used the destroyed vehicles tires to make shoes called "Dép". They also use tarpaulin and food bags to make their clothes. In 1978, the Goóc founder, Thai Quang Nghia, flees his country Vietnam by boat and was recued by a Brazilian ship. He was inspired by his people when he decides to design his own products with the ideology of recycled materials and that was the beginning of Goóc brand. |
