Fish scale jewelryFor its series of jewels made from fish scales, Pur'suco selected the designer Caroline Manuel and its Atelier des dames. Atelier des Dames: The craftsman of fair fantasy Particularly attached to Brazil, Caroline Manuel, French young person at the origin of L'atelier des Dames, discovered a surprising activity in Cabo Frio: the recycling of fish scales! To improve their standard of living, the women of fishermen from this historic city in the State of Rio de Janeiro, get back scales and work them according to a unique process to create jewels and decorative objects. Wishing to value this know-how, Caroline creates the first jewel brand labeled fair trade : L'atelier des Dames. She appoints the various models in association with the craftswomen who produced them in Cabo Frio so they can freely add their personal touch.
